When you go to a hotel after a great Christian comedy show, be sure your facial cleanser is not 10 yrs out dated - lest you end up looking like a red raccoon!

Edited: (did you really think I was going to let it go with a post from my cell phone of 160 characters or less???)

How did this happen? you ask. Well, I'm of the thought that if I keep my overnight bag packed at all times, my babies' daddy will be able to whisk me away to a romantic getaway at a moments notice and I won't forget anything. I'm usually very good at checking the medications I have packed for "just in case" but I didn't think to check my facial cleanser...

I looked like I'd fallen asleep in a tanning bed for an hour. Thankfully it faded fairly quickly. Next time, I'll trust my gut and rinse sooner... that "burning sensation" is never a good sign...

The comedy of Tim Hawkins was great. I'll post more of that later and a few pix.

Ikea, today, was like Disney World for momma... well... not really. Disney World is like Disney World for momma... and part of the trip in the car was spent trying to convince my babies' daddy that that's where we should go to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary this summer (only wait until it's cool in the winter to celebrate... we melted there on our honeymoon in the month of July. I'd rather wait for Florida's "cool" temps in the winter.)

Daddy and the kids weren't as excited about Ikea, but daddy was impressed that we could have a decent lunch for right at 20 bucks for all 5 of us. (Including vegetables!)

  1. Funny! Probably not as funny as Tim Hawkins was, but still funny.

    Have a great day!

I'd send you to Mighty Fine, but you vegetarians simply wouldn't appreciate it. Kirby Lane, though, that's a whole 'nuther matter! Yummy!

  2. ohhhhhh nooooooo! Ouch!

But was the show great, or what?!

  3. Wow.....never even thought about looking at the date on mine. Note to self: Check date on facial cleanser! I forgot you were going to the show....did you guys laugh yourselves silly? Our church had a banquet tonight and our speaker was Dennis Swanberg....he was HILARIOUS!
    Hugs, :) Heather

  4. IKEA is only Disney-ish if you have no husband or kids. And if you have money. And if you have a way to get the stuff home with you. OK, you're right. Only Disney World can really do it right. But IKEA is still the second happiest place on earth!

Can't wait to hear about Tim Hawkins! Lisa~

Thanks for stopping by. It warms my heart that you would take the time to comment. Well... If you said something nice it warms my heart...
